We were tasked with overhauling a Japanese drip coffee brand, encompassing the redesign of an e-commerce website, package labeling, and the creation of 3D visual assets and animations.

Redesigning a Japanese-inspired coffee company presented our team with several challenges, the most significant of which was finding the balance between maintaining authenticity to the culture while still being modern and innovative. We knew that it was crucial to preserve the essence of the client's product while still appealing to the modern-day consumer. Our team had to immerse ourselves in Japanese culture to understand its core elements and how to incorporate them into a contemporary design. We had to consider the history, philosophy, and symbolism of the Japanese culture to avoid any cultural misappropriation.

We faced the challenge of incorporating modern design elements while still maintaining the Japanese aesthetic. The design needed to be both visually appealing and practical, meeting the demands of today's coffee consumers. To achieve this, we conducted thorough research, tested various design concepts, and maintained open communication with the client to ensure their needs were met. With collaboration and careful consideration, we successfully created a design that was both authentic and innovative, capturing the essence of Japanese culture while appealing to a contemporary audience. The end result was a visually stunning product that satisfied both the client and the modern-day consumer.

We incorporated the new design language into the company's social media accounts, using 3D art and animations to showcase the products in a caricatured and whimsical sense. Additionally, the new design language was applied to the product packaging, creating a visually appealing and cohesive look across all of their products. Our goal was to create a design that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical, allowing the company to stand out in a competitive market and appeal to a wide range of consumers.
